I couldn't find any movie at IMDb called The Great Plane Plot

I couldn't find renewals for any of the other US movies listed.

The Invader aka An Old Spanish Custom (1936) is a British film. I don't know when or if it was released in the UK, or if it was registered in the US. I couldn't find a renewal for it, so if it was registered here the copyright expired after 1964 (if it was released here in 1936) and after 1986 in the UK, whether published there or not.

An Old Spanish Custom (1936), according to the book Buster Keaton: Cut to the Chase, is a MGM film released in 1935. Still couldn't find a renewal for it.

Bill, "The Great Plane Plot" appears to be a ten-minute episode of "Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp." Hope this helps.

Maybe that's what he means, but that was a 1970 TV series.

I think it's likely that's what he meant. When I googled the title, the first five or six pages of results tied directly to the TV show.
